Yes, I have pelvic instability since my surgery that cut the SSL. I say have because although it has calmed down over time it can still come and go. I fell last week so that put me out of alignment. I went to PT and they suggested 8 weeks of PT once a week to get my pelvis aligned and staying aligned. Like I have said I am still better than without the surgery and believe I would have quickly ended up 24/7 pain level 10 without surgery.

2007-08 pelvic muscles spasms treated by EGS. 6/27/10 sat too long on hard chair- spasms, EGS not work Botox help, cortisone shots in coccyx help, still pain, PT found PNE & sent me to Dr Marvel nerve blocks & MRN, TG left surgery 5/9/11. I have chronic bunion pain surgery at age 21. TG gave me back enough sitting to keep my job & join in some social activities. I wish the best to everyone! 2019 luck with orthotics from pedorthist & great PT allowing me to get off oxycodone.

Thany you for your response associated blocks, no matter before or after surgery.

We are all patients, not physicns. My questions might be over because only the physician be suitable to answer questions.

I will stop asking the questions of blocks.

If you have the literature of block, can you let me know.

Sincerely

I am considering to be performed TG surgnot by cutting SLS. Pelvis instability tend to be the key point for my decide.

My right side perineum has a little pain and can sit. If you were, will you decide to have surgery?

Not sure what it would take for me to agree to another surgery but quality of life was the deciding factor last time. It certainly is not an easy decision. Sorry but I do not know how many people develop instability after cutting SSL.

Read my article in the January 2014 HOPE newsletter that can be accessed from the homepage. There are many references to the literature at the end of the article.

Best,

Violet
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

When did you develop after surgery?

What is your symptom associated with pelvis instability.
