Here are some updated links to the type of supplies I used on my original post on page 1 of this thread. I don't know how long the links will last.

"I had a lot of increased burning after surgery that eventually faded away (after many months). What helped me get through the worst of it was to alternate sitting in a shallow tub of very warm water and a shallow tub of cold ice water. The tubs were up on crates in my bathtub.

The crates were like sort of like this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Juggernaut-S ... om=/search
The shallow tubs were sort of like this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-Se ... om=/search
The alternating hot/cold was invigorating and brought fresh blood to the area -- maybe why I recovered so well?

I used a kid inflatable swim ring to sit on. I know this sounds really crazy and it may not help everyone but it was a lifesaver for me.
Here is a potential ring, only if you can find one with a larger opening like maybe a kids swim ring it would probably work better so you would be down in the water more: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Equate-Infla ... om=/search
Maybe this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/PCP-Inflatab ... thena=true
or this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/DMI-Donut-In ... erId=15399

For hydrotherapy benefits you would do this for 2 minutes in the very warm water and 30 seconds in the cold water - alternating back and forth 4 times and ending with cold water."

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Violet, that's a clever technique. I should try it.

And while we're on this topic, did anyone here try CBD products for managing the pain? I've heard mixed reviews, but I want to try them. I ordered these CBD gummies https://joyorganics.com/products/chill-out-delta-9-thc-gummies and plan on taking one per day. I've heard they can be helpful for managing various types of discomfort, so I'm curious to see if they'll work for me.

Onlysams, I would be interested to hear how CBD works for you. I've heard of it working on other kinds of pain but I don't know about PN.

I find the best ointment daily for Pudendal Neurelgia is using good old Rawlieghs menthol medicated ointment. Just a little internal helps the brain take away the pain. For a knockout pain cream is 10% lidocaine. It stops the burning and numbs the internal nerve pain. I use it mainly for when I go out.
You can buy it online from Korea. Totally legal. Hope these little tips help.

Great suggestions, Jelley.

I know one woman who uses "Icy Hot" patches that contain lidocaine and menthol.

I'm thinking of trying CBD, too. onlysams, did you try it?
I found a medical cannabis clinic here in the UK, Integro, and thinking of going there. I'll keep you updated if I'll do it.
