Lindsey, what kind of exercises is she having you do? I'm all for trying PT but if it's making you worse that doesn't seem right that you should continue it -- but I could be wrong. Actually, I think the wrong type of PT is what pushed me over the edge into full-blown PGAD. Later I tried a different PT who did internal work one day and I had a week-long flare-up afterward. I decided that it didn't make sense to keep irritating the nerve if it was already being irritated by ligaments. In the end, my instincts were right. So, I don't know, I could be wrong, maybe PT is right for you, but I would sure be asking some questions of the PT as to why you should continue with something that is making you worse.LindseyD wrote: Hower since I traveled a distance and had a very thorough physical examination, nerve blocks, and an extremely compassionate physical therapy who is very used to helping IC and PN patients my pudendal nerve has hurt more. They said that is normal for it to act up but to try and continue PT. She is going to help me find one simular to her at home and gave me work sheet excercises to work on in the mean time.
