I had heard that Prof Robert was retiring although he might still do some PNE surgeries. I wonder if Judy Birch on the uk pelvic pain forum would know if there are any French docs taking his place. If you know someone who speaks French you could also try the French forum to find out if they know.

I had an email from Prof Robert recently, and he appears to be leaving the public hospital, and moving to the same clinic as Dr Riant. He has also said he is a bit up in the air at the moment, with the changes. I could not quite understand his english that well, but he also may not now have a secretary either, or initially anyway, but that was hard to tell.

I have recently seen Mr Wong and Dr Greenslade in clinic in Bristol, and were happy with the treatment and diagnosis i received. Fortunately, I didn't need the nerve block done, which was good, and also good to know that they don't just do these things willy nilly.
There was alot of confusion with the rendezvous as Dr Greenslade was off work, and Mr Wong agreed to see me in his absence but in the end Dr Greenslade was there for my RDV too. Normally Mr Wong is only there for the surgical side, so ended up paying for 2 consultants to be in the room, but at least I saw Dr Greenslade and was sorted out in the end. Fingers crossed -onwards and upwards eh? RDVs seem to be slightly easier to come by with them, although I do believe with Dr Greenslade not being full time atm, this may be a problem. I am not sure how long this will be for. He is a very approachable person, and very knowledgeable on nerve damage etc.

Thank goodness that you are getting help now purdy. I guess almost everyone here can sympathise, when AT LAST you have found someone and then still get no where. Mr Wong is the man for the surgeries anyway over here (apart from Mr Dixon that is) so good luck

How are you doing, did you have decompression surgery last year. Forgive me if you have posted this in another thread. I had bilateral TG surgery 13 weeks ago and saw Mr Wong and Mr Greenslade. Since surgery I have not been able to see or hear from Mr Greenslade, his secretary told me that because Mr Wong performed the surgery I was no longer a patient of Mr Greenslade and could not see him under any circumstances! Found this strange and upsetting I was paying privately? Have spoken to Mr Wong several times but always a rushed conversation and no mention of a multi disciplined approach that was promoted prior to surgery.
