Before I had surgery with Dr. Chambi I researched and found the same info that has been shared here... So very many Dr.s are sued.. I have total trust in him... The first time I had surgery with him was last May, He operated on my left side... I am so very happy that I did choose him because after almost 5 years with this horrible pain, I am feeling so very much better.. I will be leaving next week for him to do the right side...decompress the sciatic, pudendal, posterior cutaneous and inferior gluteal nerves.Oh, and the peroneal nerve. Also freeing my piriformus muscle that was invading the sciatic nerve...
When we arrived at his office, it was packed, got to visiting with a few patients just to get a feel, the people I spoke with have such great faith , some were there for follow ups.. One man had brain surgery, said" this man has given me my life back". This man is very talented at what he does.. I think it is very unforturnate of the findings and problems he has had.. This man is giving me my life back after almost 5 years... I could not be happier. I thank this site for help in finding this man and his knowledge and talent... .
Please send me a few good vibes on the 3rd of Oct. I will be putting my trust in his hands... All I have to look forward to now is slowly making my body heal, This journey has been long and hard, but then "no pain no gain" :D Ellie
Surgery Jan.05 2011 TG with Dr Antalok. Dr.Chambi May of 2012 showed injury from a fall on back, 11 years ago. My piriformis muscle caused a large amount of fibrosis .My sciatic nerve was growing through the piriformis muscle which caused a bifid p.muscle. . Dr Chambi decompressed the sciatic, pudendal, pfcn ,and peroneal nerves. I hope to have a nuerostimulator put in to help with the sciatic pain that never goes away. Most days are better with the pudendal if I do not sit at all.

The only thing that makes my right side different to yours Ellie is that I don't think I need the inferior gluteal 'interfered' with. I think we match on the others so does Dr Greenslade over here in England.
Wishing you good luck for the 3rd. Wow! can you imagine having such a good effect on both sides. :D
take tons of care,
Helen xx

Helen, I still do not know how long the time will be to heal the nerves that were compressed ... .My left leg feels so much better, the sciatic I can tell is in the correct place after being pushed away for so long.. Also my knee from the release of the peroneal nerve.... I feel so much less inflamation post op... I just dread the whole thing coming up.. The whole thing is going to be such a struggle. This is a time in my life that I need to just take a minute at a time, and deal with that... Who knows what the final outcome will be.. If we didn't have hope, we would not have nothing:D I wish you well with your upcoming appointments .

Ellie, I'm glad to hear you have seen some improvements and hope your surgery went well this week. Hope to hear some more good news from you soon! ;)

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
