Botox / Dr. Conway

Post by kat »

Elliot Hospital has a doc. that Dr. Conway works with who does Botox. I haven't had it, just wanted that information out there.

Kathy
Born with pudendal and obtorator neuralgia. 32 years of being misdiagnosed.
Surgery with Conway 7/14/10. Internal burning cured!
Currently in PT for many pelvic floor issues due to having PN for so long.

Kathy are you talking about Dr. Quesada or is it someone else?
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Hi everyone;
I finally got approved for botox!! Only took 2 appeal letters from Dr. Quesada and 48, yes 48 pages of info to the ins. company. Now I'm nervous. Can anybody tell me of their experiences with the shot? I want to know what to expect. I'll probably post this in the welcome center so that I can get as much feed back as possible. I really hope I didn't fight this hard for a shot I may regret. I guess if you don't try, you just don't know.
My best;
Doreen

Sixth Injection left me with more burning, more pain, pain in buttocks.

Merrie;
Sorry I'm just getting back to you. I have a million excuses but the answer to your question is, the Obturator Muscle. I had it done Nov. 30 and it didn't do a thing. It may be my imagination, but I feel like in the past month I'm burning more and the burn has moved up to the clitoris area. I'm probably getting worse just with time and the shot had nothing to do with it. I'm suppose to see Dr. Quesada after 2 months but I'm going to write a letter instead of making the 4 hour trip, especially with the weather we are all having.
Sorry for the delay;
Doreen
