Mri question - new member

Post by Lilo123 »

Hello Everyone,
I am new and found already useful Infos on this forum.
I have one question: Can a Entrapment - even from scar tissue - be really seen on a MRI? If yes, is this a clear indication for an operation ? I read that some people have entrapments but no symptoms. So i am a bit confused.
Thank you very much! Lilo

i just had pelvic mris done w/ and w/o contrast. i ws hoping something treatable wld show, since the uro gyn already dx'd me PN entrapment.
after pcp and uro gyn both rvwd - there's nothing there showing entrapment. uro gyn said "you can hv PN neuralgia w/o entrapment"
Not sure if that answers question. now she wants me to find yet another dr. another gyn and urologist to weigh in on matter. i am so sick of running dr to dr, i'm losing hope. it's been a year of this; my partner died, i am grieving, i don''t want or need this issue. plus ibsc and ic too. i'm thinking of a way out of this life. it's awful. i am grateful no cancer, but chronic pain and invisible disabilities are just as bad and isolating as those you can see. so sad, hopeless, don't know wht todo nxt. good luck on y our journey dear. 65F
