New here
Hi I’ve made a couple of posts but don’t know if they’re in the right place desperate for help
Re: New here
Hi, I answered your post in the previous section of the forum.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Yes think I posted this before I realised I’m not very tech savvy if this is happening because se of my withdrawal from anti depressants and not something mechanical is there a chance it might go away the way my mental health is at the moment think this might finish me off

I don't know. I wish I had the answer to that. Sometimes I wonder if people who develop PGAD after going off of antidepressants have an underlying pudendal nerve problem that was just being masked by the antidepressant.
I had never taken an antidepressant before having PGAD but I started taking an antidepressant (lexapro) after getting PGAD and PN and it helped dampen the PGAD symptoms a lot. After PNE release surgery I slowly went off the medication.
Have you tried going back on an antidepressant to see if it takes away the symptoms? I'm sure you would rather not go back on the medication but if it worked, it sure beats having PGAD.

I have also thought there could be an underlying issue affecting the pudendal nerve that is asymptomatic but coming off an antidepressant makes it symptomatic.
