Should you also get steroid injections along with Botox at the same time? Has anyone had experience with this before?

Botox should not be mixed with anything, including steroids. If you mean two separate injections, there could be a logic to that. Botox is to chemically relax muscles that are resistant to other measures. Steroid are targeted at nerves, as an "anti-inflammatory" usually intended to prolong the effects of local anesthetics.

I know someone who got PGAD from nerve blocks containing the steroid depo-medrol.
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
