Florida Doctors

Any advise/referral for a doctor in Florida who specializes in pudendal nerve perinium pain in males. Most of the true specialist seem to be in Arizona, New York, California. Thanks!!

Mike,

While not a physician, Tracy Sher is a PT in the Orlando area who is an expert in PN with decades of experience. If I lived in Florida, she would be my first appointment. In fact, I had a Telehealth visit with her years ago to discuss my issues. She or one of her colleagues may be able to examine you, assess your symptoms, and offer advice on who to see. If you Google her name you will find her website with all her info.

PN started 2004 from fall. Surgery with Filler Nov. 2006, Dr. Campbell April 2007. Pain decreased by 85% in 2008 (rectal and sitting pain resolved completely), pain returned in 12/13. Pain reduced significantly beginning around 11/23.

If you are looking for a doctor, I unfortunately never found one that was remotely well versed in this realm and none helped me for the 2 years I was searching for the issue to my problem. Neither did out of state ones for that matter.

However, I did find a very good male pelvic floor physical therapist who is in Tampa if that is close enough to you. The name is Alinea Performance for the company and his name is Joseph Rossi. Fantastic PT and one of the only I have found that specializes in specific pelvic floor symptoms to males.
