Transgluteal vs laparoscopic
Transgluteal vs laparoscopic
What are the pros and cons to each approach? Is one better than the other?

Hello Bananerd,
You can read about the different approaches at the following link:

I am not aware of any publications that compare the stats on results for each type of surgery. I personally know more people who have gotten better from the TG approach but that could be because more people typically report on this forum who had that approach. You might want to consult several of the surgeons to find out what their success rates are. Some of them have email addresses listed on our website or some do telehealth visits.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
