Has anyone had relief from PN?

Post by yboyle »

Hello. New to this site. Just starting the PN journey. PN became consistent unimaginable pain in April 2022. I am max out on Gabapentin and meloxicam. Just started using Dr. Hibners suppositories timing administrating them just prior to my worst periods of pain which is between 3-6pm. (verdict still out on effectiveness) Had to stop working. Had 2 trigger point injections in the levator muscle which made the pain worse. (which I didnt think was possible) Trying to be seen by Dr Athasharoo
But wow the posts dont seem to offer much hope.

Hi Yami,

I'm sorry you're feeling so discouraged. It is true that there are no easy medical solutions to pn and that many people do continue to suffer even after various treatments. But, I did get some relief from decompression surgery (with Hibner) four years ago. I do still have pain that comes and goes, but it is lower than before. So, there are some success and partial success stores out there.
