Hi all.
44 yrs old, male. Have had bilteral TG PN surgery in frace in 2016 (prof robert).
Surgery went well though the surgeon did find some damage to the left nerve and muscle structures and neuroma on the nerve that he had to remove.
Long recovery but did manage to get my most of life back with 70% pain free with some side effects that accured few years after. Modrate impotancy,
Internal rectal intussusception (mucosal prolapse)
Also problems with the prostate muscles and Urinary urgency with hard time to empty the bladder.
I lived with those problems, managed the discomfort as much as i could. Went back to full time job (very good one!) as WIN Sys admin besides the peeing problem and some discomfort i was unable to fully empty the bladder i could sit pretty comfort compared to b4 the surgery... that untill last week. The hell started, bad case of flu and constant diarrhea for 2 days and as i wrote before i had some gradual-modrate rectal mucosal prolapse 2 years after the surgery (tried cosarvative with that) but during the toilet problems suddenly i felt like something tearing me from inside like a sharp knife in the left side where the nerve located and constant feeling like it comprassed again against the muscles or rectal wall constant electric pain or fullness feeling / pressure and all my old pains came came with the days after with vengeance. Also urge to void defacate
The only relif is to sit on a toilet sit, other then that constant pain that i barely manage the tip of it with al kind of pain relivers and anti inflamatory
I dont know what to do now? I thought i am getting my life back again EVEN with the post surgery annoying side affects. But now i dont know what to do.
Cant sit withought percocet & dipyrone & NSAIDS that baraly cut the tip from the pain, cant sleep and if i manage to sleep when i wake up the electric shocking pain hitting me as soon as i go to the bathroon
I dont know if prof Robert even doing revision surgeries (plus in my extra condition from the last suregery side effects?) or even stiil work in this field at all because he was about 70 years old back then or so.
Please i need help and advice from ppl that have had surgeries and had to get another surgery few years after.
Also in my country they dont have experts in the pelvic surgeries nor in this area.
Thank you in advance and sorry about the long post.
God bless you all
Baz

Wow, sorry to hear you are in such difficulty. I think that you should get a lumbosacral MRI along with lumbosacral plexus MRI as soon as you can to rule out anything obvious that needs fixing.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

I sent the Nantes team an email a week ago (in english, idk french) so far they did'nt answer yet. Still waiting... the pain \ pressure in the inner pelvic \ cramps in the outer pelvic, thighs and discomfort became worse and now i cant avoid it by lying down, it doesnt work. I think the lower back is involved too. There are days i cant walk strait and lose balance while walkingViolet M wrote:Wow, sorry to hear you are in such difficulty.
