PNE or PN and anal cramps

Post by Ilse »

I lived a year with PN, using meds and marginally benefitting from pelvic therapy. I mastered sitting on rolled towels for 1.5 hours in total per day. Was riding a special electric step and still enjoying my life.

The corona seige affected my decision making abilities when I decided to take a weekend job. Light lifting but I a lot of squating. I did not know that it would harm me. After just working 3 hours, my symptoms gradually over the span of a month spread from perineal/vagina area also to anal. And I lost ability to sit at all without a pain.

And after having a mild discomfort there I decided to contact my PT. She massged it, and I felt better for a day. Then symptoms returned, and I was authorized to massage them gently myself. And then I was starting to have anal cramps, keeping me awake at night.

I read in the forum about anal suppos and wanted to try them. They do have a habit to prescribe only manufactured medicine here in the NL. So I got diazepam pills instead which help a bit but has a lot systemic toxicity for me.

I am recovering from inscisional endo surgery, currently. I had to do it, otherwise it would spread to internal organs. It is getting better but I still have issues with anal cramps.

I suspect that I have a PNE. Why would otherwise I would be so much hurt from squating and occasionally pushing myself up on shelves?

If anybody has anal cramps as I do, I would appreciate your advice which medicine worked the best for you. I want to stabilize my condition in order to be able to contact a specialists in BE or FR.

Any good experiences with TG or laproscopic surgeries? I would opt for the TIR but I have had a vaginal surgery in 2014, and doubt they would do it. My symptoms with inability to sit started 4 years after surgery, although I started having some weird spastic defecation after surgery which did not bother me too insignificant back then. And my surgeon dismissed it as insignificant matter back then.
