Re: people with PN/PNE in Toronto
Hi, I am a 78 year old single female just diagnosed with PN/E and vulvodynia since Feb 2022 after being healthy. It took 9 months to get a diagnosis after several false diagnoses of the groin and labial pain. Collingwood isn't the Mayo clinic. I'm concerned that this is incurable, rather than just trying to block pain. Any suggestions about specialists treatment for PN/E in GTA? OHIP is in such chaos now, it's hard to get appointments with specialists.
Re: people with PN/PNE in Toronto
Sorry to hear you are on the PNE journey. Last I heard, there is a doctor at University of Toronto but I don't know much about him other than what is on the website.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
Re: people with PN/PNE in Toronto
Dr.Peng at Toronto Western University Hospital is knowledgeable about PNE as a pain doctor. He works with Dr.Lemos on their publications also.
