Nyt,

Thank you for response. I am hopefull that injection would happen through IV and that she won't have to be stuck in her glutes.
Thank you for reminding of the shoe insert, I think you had mentioned that before. Yes one leg is longer and I will make a note to ask the PT about the insert.
I guess I will need to get on the phone and make sure that MRI is scheduled while we are there as I can not afford to make a second trip if that can be avoided.
Dr. Hibner's office was scheduling 7 months out July- Aug. It was devine intervention ( I beleive) that we got in so soon.
Dr. Hibner himself called and left a message on my machine... I don't know if that is his normal protocol, but he said he would be calling back.

Did the contrast Dye burn or cause a "flare" for you?? I am just trying to make sure I don't do anything to make her worse.

Thanks for your input .

Mom,

You getting in early is a result of divine intervention and Dr. Hibner's true compassion.... especially for children, I would presume.

God bless you and T

the last few days have been hard days. It has been rainy, and her itch has been worse. Major tummy ache today. Home form school. She is begging me to home school! I think just becuase she does not want to deal with the kids. One in particular who always says"OOOH she is digging in her private". I know it is embarassing for her and then even more so when kids point it out.

Praying for direction and wisdom about this.
Praying for all of you as well.

Give her a big hug from me. I'm praying for wisdom for you both regarding home schooling. It sounds like a good idea though. (I would want it if I were her too.) I was ridiculed and excluded as a child for several years, and the scars run deep. Then, I was homeschooled for 2 years and it was a very healing thing for my emotions, and I gained the courage to make friends easily. If sitting is too painful, there is another reason to homeschool and protect her from further developments in pain. Sounded like she already protects and guards with her sitting positions preferred these days, so you'd be protecting not only her heart but also her body from further pain developments. This is one of those situations where home-schooling would solve a problem. I know... it's a big project....honestly I'd rather not home school my little one and I look forward to the hours of getting a break... I will be praying for wisdom for you and God's grace and protection for you both.

Thank you for reply pianogal :)

I was just on the phone with Dr. Hibner's office to try and amke sure we get an MRI scheduled for the same time that we will be there. They said he doesn't schedule those until after the consultation........is there any way around this?????? Do they have any idea how expensive it is to just up and ago across the country??????
I am not trying to be ungreatful for the appt. with Dr. Hibner..I AM THANKFUL for that. I was just hoping we could everything done at once.
Any thoughts??

Greg got his done the next day while he was still in Phoenix; they were able to set it up while he was there. Remember, it's not like other programs where there is a set protocol. In Phoenix they wait until you get there and then decide how to customize it. But, to answer your question, I'm not sure travel time/expense is really a main consideration. It may not be possible if customization is the priority.
PNE as a result of childbirth, 2002. Treatment by the Houston team, with neurosurgery by Dr. Ansell in 2004. My left side ST and SS ligaments were found to be grown together, encasing the pudendal nerve.

I am cured. I hope you will be, too.

There are no medical answers on the forum. Your only hope is to go to a doctor. I was very happy with the Houston team, which has treated the most PNE patients (well over 400), more than any other US provider.

WOW GOD!!!!!

Dr. Hibner called back today. He said he would write the order for the MRI so we would have it done before we meet with him, he said he will make sure he has the results before we see him.
Based on what the MRI shows possible botox or nerve block :?
Also wants us to meet with Loretta , a PT whose opinion he values greatly. He was VERY kind. He was very tender and compassionate as he says the youngest patient he has ever seen was 17, so his heart goes to her for her suffering.

GOD YOU ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!

Mom,

I have been and will continue praying for you guys. So greatful God has speeded up your appointment with Hibner and you will be able to have the MRI there in Phoenix as well. Be encouraged that through this fiery trial (1Peter 4:12) is making you rely on God who "raises the dead" (2 Cor 1:8-9). He is faithful.
