Dr Michael Durtnall Sayer Clinic Pudendal Neuralgia

Post by Dee »

After 2 laparoscopies for severe endometriosis a hysterectomy and a nasty fall all in the space of 10 months, I have suffered with Pudendal neuralgia and have been unable to sit due to the pain for 4 years. I suffered with burning perineal pain especially after urination, bowel pain as well.
I have seen many specialists; Urologist, Gynaecologist, two different pain specialists who gave me numerous injections and nerve blocks, 2 different physiotherapists and had CBT. I was also taking Amitriptyline and Gabapentin.
After seeing Dr Michael Durtnall’s name come up on this site I decided to seek his opinion and I’m so glad I did. He actually listened to everything I had to say and took X-rays of my pelvis. He felt I had a musculoskeletal problem and also a misaligned coccyx which no one had ever noticed before.
I am now into my fifth month of treatment with Michael Durtnall for pelvic manipulation and physiotherapy with Karolina Krzaczek. With their expert knowledge and care I have improvement in coccyx pain and sitting pain. The constant back ache I had has gone and the burning. I no longer take Amitriptyline and Gabapentin which I never felt helped the pain. I have a way to go yet and do have flare ups of pain after treatment but for the first time in years I have hope for the future.
