Soy
Re: Soy
Hi Dave,
I used to take Soy supplements but can't say they had any effect on neuropathic or menopausal symptoms.
Just my opinion: Diet and exercise really aren't the answer to everything!
Kind regards,
Karyn

Re: Soy
Gosh, I don't remember exactly what the brand name was, Dave.
They were capsules of organic soy powder with no additives or fillers and I took them 3x/day for a couple of years. Thinking back, I do remember a bit of GI upset while taking them. But that was really the only effect to my "well being".
Sorry I can't be more help.

Re: Soy
Dave, I eat a lot of soy -- soy milk, soy meats, and different forms of tofu. I was raised vegetarian and I just don't like the taste of meat. I have no idea if eating soy has contributed to my improvement but I kind of doubt it -- I think it was surgery that helped in my case.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
Re: Soy
Soy is used for high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and preventing diseases of the heart and blood vessels. It is also used for type 2 diabetes, asthma, lung cancer, endometrial cancer, prostate cancer, and thyroid cancer, as well as preventing weak bones (osteoporosis), and slowing the progression of kidney disease.
