Hi Janet,
It's good that there is a treatment center opening up in your country for people with pelvic pain. Hopefully soon there will be more, including one in your area. I wonder if there might be a local PT who would be willing to learn the techniques for treating PN. Maybe you could ask around to the local PT's to see if anyone is willing to learn more.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Hi Janet,
I wonder if the new center has radiologists who would read the MRI? I know you said they aren't treating patients who live outside their area, but maybe one of their radiologists would nonetheless read the MRI? But if you think that wouldn't work, I'd be happy to call Hibner's office and see what their radiologists can do. I'm guessing one of the biggest complications would be the payment process, but I can call and check. Why don't you send me a private message and we can work out the details. A local physiotherapist (as Violet noted) would be very helpful too---as a treatment and maybe as a source of information. Did you ask the new center if they knew of physiotherapists who could help (outside of their center)? In my city, all the pts seem to know each other (even those outside their own specialty), so you could also try calling a few physical therapists to see if they knows of a pelvic pt in the area.
