Well, it's good you don't have to deal with SIJD and pelvic misalignment. Since you already have had a pelvic exam and you don't have pain along the course of the pudendal nerve then maybe you have to consider other possibilities. So, if it's the fluid next to your coccyx that is the problem, I don't know the best way that can be treated. I recently had an MRI of my should due to some shoulder injuries and there is fluid in the bursa and sub-acromial space in my shoulder. Right now I am trying physical therapy to mobilize the shoulder impingements and scar tissue to try to help drain that fluid. I am starting to see some improvements but it's taking time. So, I think it makes sense to continue PT if it seems to be helping you improve, even if it is slow. Maybe PT will help to mobilize the tissues and help the fluid to drain. But the hot and cold sitz baths with epsom salts may help too because hot epsom salts draw out infection. You could also try adding supplements that help reduce inflammation. Maybe something like Restorative Exercise would help too. Just brainstorming.....

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
