explaining my condition when its embarising

Post by ouch270216 »

Heya

One of the difficult things i think of having pudendal nerve pain is that its hard to talk about my condition to people which can make me feel very isolated if i feel i need to talk.
What i was wondering is how do you explain to people without it being embarrassing? Thanks x

I usually just let people think it was my back unless they were a very close friend and seemed interested in more detail. I didn't need the stress of trying not to be embarrassed and it was more fulfilling to talk to people on the forum because they were the only people who could truly relate to what I was going through.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
