Hiya my name is Katheryn (Katy for short) and i am currently trying to loose about one and a half stone and just be heather and stronger.
First of all i'm happy with my diet now and its helping a bit but i know i need to exercise more, I've been trying to do walking and going swimming but i'm not always able to go swimming as the pain is to bad to travel. Walking is not to bad and I've been doing that but i want something that targets specific places.
My hubby got me a wii fit and i loved doing it but i ended up in loads of pain (like crying in pain) and realised from the pudendal hope site that i was doing the ones i'm not meant to be doing. I'm pear shaped and trying to slim down my hips, thighs, bum and tummy and pretty much all things for your bottom half seem off limits, but i need to build strength in the area also as when the pains so bad i'm not very active which is making my hyper mobility worse.
So the question is, what do you guys do if you cant get out but want to do a bit of exercise each day that won't flare you up?
Thanks for reading!

Re: toning up with pudendal nerve pain
There is some trial and error involved in trying to figure out the best exercise that works for you. If you can't swim then another relatively safe exercise for people with PNE is to walk, but preferably on a flat surface rather than uphill. Since my PNE surgery I have been able to ease back into doing some of The Firm exercises but due to hypermobility I have to be a little bit careful still.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Hi Katy,
Well, my surgery was over 10 years ago so I would say I've recovered already but thanks for the good wishes. I hope you will be able to find exercises you can do that don't flare up your pain.
