I have had anterior approach 6 weeks ago
Re: I have had anterior approach 6 weeks ago
I hope it will be so, Violet, but I am very tired of this shit in a age in which the other people live without limits...I gave me this chance but the life is ridicolous...all this for a cycling seat...

What kind of pain do you have?Anterior(testicular, penis etc) or posterior(anal, perineum)? The accident was because of the seat of the bicycle?Andy_Pablo wrote:I can relate to a lot of your issues, including the cause. The irony of cycling to stay fit putting me into this state of vegetation is certainly not lost on me. Life does have a cruel sense of humour. But I digress, I just wanted to state that I had TG surgery in Bristol several months ago & while my pain & symptoms still fluctuate wildly, the ED issue seems to have resolved itself to a large degree. There is hope. It just needs time & patience sadly. You are not alone my friend.

Re: I have had anterior approach 6 weeks ago
A little of both anterior & posterior. It has improved since surgery & the constant perineal pain has gone, which means that I can sit for short periods, but the trade off is that I get extreme pain in hips & groin. The penal/anal pain is very rare now, as is ED. so its changed in several months, but as Violet has mentioned, it takes a lot of time & patience. I am far from cured, & currently in the process of aquiring opioids from my doctors again, but things are changing & I take hope from that. My issues arose from a poor selection & fitting of a bicycle seat & then lifting heavy objects. I know its hard, but hang in there my friend.

Instead I have constant perineal pain now(the anterior approach can't resolve perineum's pain), and this is probably due to an entrapment between ST/SS ligaments(I had an entrapment in pubic ramus also), and exspecially to the ST ligaments...I made a mistake to do the TIR, because I need an approach which arrives to the ST ligaments...certainly, after 6 months from the anterior approach, Dr Aszmann will do also the TG, to release the nerve from the ligaments.

Honda 1991, how are you now? I'm Italian too, you was active member in ex-italian forum Pudendo.it, right?
2004 Urethral burnings, chronic prostatitis diagnosis, unuseful drugs. Lately added chronic pelvic contracture.
2011 Pudendal Neuralgia diagnosis, nerve blocks and oral drugs.
2013 Two neuromodulation surgeries.
2016 Possover negate Pudendal Neuralgia (no pain elicited on rectal exploration), says problem is more central but MRI- neurography show nothing.
2017 De Bisshop found Oedema/hyperpressure and neurological abnormal response on intrapiriform area, most on sx.
Failed injection blocks.

I stay well in testicular pain but I have a very important perineal pain: for this reason I did the transgluteal decompression in february
