valium

hi everyone,
my pyschiatrist has given me valium to be used when my anxiety attacks become too extreme to be controlled by breathing and relaxation techniques. What can I expect to happen when I take 5mg pill?

I'm very sensitive to medications. I have taken 5mg of Valium for muscle spasms with success. Helped my spasms, and also made me feel less tense, less anxiety, relaxed, drowsy. If 5mg feels like too much, ask your doctor about cutting the pills in half and taking 2.5mg. Until you know how you'll feel when you take it, you should plan on not driving.
