Lipoma causing pudendal neuralgia ???

Hi,
I'm 25 year old male.
About 4 months back, I started to have tingling sensation around my scrotum and weak erections.
As time passed by i started experiencing stabbing pain in left butt and strong twitching and spasms in that area.
Recently i was diagnosed with a lipoma of 2.5 cm in size on anteroinferior margin of my left piriformis muscle medial to ischial spine, over which pudendal
nerve is draped. My neurologist sent me to get nerve guided injection. Injection provided me relief for about a week's period over which tingling sensation and
twitching and pain reduced considerably and i was able get better erections.
My neurologist is looking for surgeon to remove the lipoma.
I live in Sydeny, if someone out has also experienced similar thing. Please do share and if someone can recommend doctor(in Sydney) specializing in this area.

I also have a lipoma, mine is located near my rectal pain and the levator ani muscle group. I was supposed to have a surgeon look at it last month, but he had an emergency come up and my appointment got moved to later in July. I have read/heard different things about lipomas and nerve pain. I will update after my appointment.
