That's sad that your doctors are laughing, Karan. It sounds like your worst pain is in your leg. Do your doctors have any opinion about that? If you can't find anyone to help, maybe you will need to consider traveling as so many PN patients have had to do.

I always thought of burning as pain so I'm not sure I understand your description of painless burning.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Hello violet ,thanks for being a support ,i have a burning feeling in the skin outside anus and scrotum tingling another major thing i wanted to ask that is it possible that u have pain in the left cheek and sciatica in the right leg can this happen in pn or is it all coming from spine as i have l4 l5 protusion which i mentioned earlier as well coz any sciatica here in india is related to spine and they recommend surgery and i dont want a failed surgery as fas as excercises are concerned i m doing
Knee to chest
Pelvic bridge
Knee rotation
Neural canal mobilizations
Sacrum and abdominal by chiro
Piriformis release by dry needling no relief
And how did u help ur piriformis to avoid getting into spasm and do u recommend long walks
Awaiting opinions

Before my PNE surgery I couldn't take long walks. The piriformis muscle was in spasm causing sciatic symptoms in my leg. Heat and ice helped a little bit temporarily I couldn't really find anything that helped it before surgery but after surgery it slowly calmed down with the help of a TENS unit used 2 hours a day.

Do you feel like the exercises are helping you at all?

Hi Karan,
I'm also suffering through Pudendal neuralgia. I'm 25 years old male. Typical symptoms that keep dogging me are: Tingling sensation in scrotum area, twitching in left leg and pain and trembling in left cheek of my hips. Also weak erections which are accompanied by strong tingling sensation as soon as i try to get excited.
After knocking numerous doors of doctors, lipoma was diagnosed near left pudendal nerve in first MRI. My neurologist send me to get a nerve block, which i did and it worked for one week. He told that we need to surgically remove it.
Then i went to WHRIA Sydney to get second opinion as they deal with cases of pudendal neuralgia. Doctor over there send me to another Radiologist specializing in pelvic area, this time they found my left perineum canal to be narrow possibly causing all this. Surgeon said he is not 100 % sure if he wants do Decompression surgery at this stage.
My advice for you is to find good doctor who has already dealt with these kind of cases. I know it would be hard to find pudendal nerve specialists in India as I'm also form India. Keep posting about your findings as you go. Good luck
