effexor xr

Has anyone had luck trying effexor xr for their pain, depression, and anxiety due to this condition. I just stopped taking it and I feel that I need to get back on it asap. It is a very hard drug to withdraw from as you feel loopy in the head without it but I do feel that it helped somewhat. Certainly better than cymbalta for me. My issues are with a constant feeling of pressure that just about puts me over the top. It literally makes me feel sick. I also take klonopin and that helps with the spasms but it is a rough road for sure. I need to get my depression under control and the overwhelming fear that I feel constantly from being in pain.

Grammy, why did you stop taking the effexor? I haven't taken it but I know of a woman who has and she believes that it made her hair fall out. She also had a hard time with going off it too.

I take Cymbalta at the lowest dose and it has helped my depression immensely but of course at the dose I'm on it really doesn't touch the pain. I've been told by my dr's that I could increase it but I don't want the sleepy side effects. What was your experience with Cymbalta?
