Left Leg never heals right anymore

Was wondering if anyone had similar issues. I'm in my 40's and now when I get a mosquito bite or a bump or scratch it leaves a permanent scar on my left leg. Anything on my right heals up and it's gone. Needless to say my left leg is starting to look pretty yicky. I got a big mosquito bite 2 months ago, bumped my knee, etc. and each one is now a scar ONLY on the left leg.

Anyone else have this on either leg?

I asked my heart doctor if it could be something to do with my heart (I have mitral valve prolapse and a really small abdominal aortic aneurysm (just over the 3.5 limit) but he says no. Since I got my tailbone block and had such pain on the inner left bottom of my leg near the ankle, I know that somehow the pelvic area/lower back nerves are causing pain/numbness/sensations down the legs but didn't think it would extend to scarring.

Anyway, any thoughts would be appreciated.
