When I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Hibner and his team they set up one day for an MRI. I assume that he wants an MRI from a 3T machine. Does anyone know if I can have an MRI done at home on a 3T (east coast) and bring it with me and take a day off the trip to AZ or does he prefer MRIs from his own hospital? Thank you.

Dr. Hibner and MRI
PN started 2004 from fall. Surgery with Filler Nov. 2006, Dr. Campbell April 2007. Pain decreased by 85% in 2008 (rectal and sitting pain resolved completely), pain returned in 12/13. Pain reduced significantly beginning around 11/23.
Re: Dr. Hibner and MRI
The MRI done by Dr. Kalinkin (the radiologist that works with Dr. Hibner) is specialized to focus on the pudendal nerve. The only place on the east coast that focuses on the pudendal is to have one with Dr. Potter at HSS in NYC. Currently, the MRI in Phoenix is with a 1.5T but very soon they will be doing 3.0T.
