Thanks Cari,
Does anybody else have any I can add to this ongoing list? If so, please help, because it helps us all, especially new members with PNE or think they have PNE and no local resources or doctors to support them.

Shawn, I sent you a private message 4 or 5 days ago asking if I could talk with you by telephone about your pudendal nerve blocks with Dr. Stackhouse in Concord, NC. My email might have ended up in your trash folder. I will email again and put a specific message in the subject box so you can find it. I have been asked by a doctor to have a pudendal nerve block through the Alcock's canal. I called Dr. Stackhouse's office to ask how many he had done. The answer was 4 so I assume those were performed on you. Thank you for any information you can provide me. Are you still seeing him?

This isn't a specific doctor but Kaiser Permanente has a Chronic Pelvic Pain unit. I've had pelvic floor PT, local steroid injections and a ganglion impar block. Kaiser offers guided nerve blocks but I'd already had these under a previous health plan. Kaiser also has a separate Chronic Pain unit, which handles pain medication. Kaiser doesn't offer surgery. If you're already a Kaiser member, Kaiser can be a good place to start for conservative treatment. I live in Northern California but Kaiser facilities are located throughout the U.S.
