Best Doctors for Pundendal in the USA?

Post by md84 »

After spending a bunch of money to go down to Houston to see the "Ansell Team" I feel a bit let down. I gathered a lot of information but didn't feel like I had any good treatment options once I left. I live in a rural area and if I wanted to go see a pundendal PT I'd have to drive 3 hours each way. I was debating on having surgery with Ansell but hearing from his surgery coordinator that he was "phasing out" I decided that I couldn't possibly go through with surgery, at least with him. I want somebody that cares and will actually be around if there are complications.

So my question to you all out there....Who do you recommend I go see? Who are the top docs out there (besides Ansell) for surgery? What did you think about your experience with your pundendal doc? Is there any hope??

Thanks.

Hi Matt,
I've had a very good experience with Dr. Conway in NH. He's available to all post-op patients, whether you need to see him, or speak with him over the phone. His office staff is excellent, too.
I'm sorry things didn't work out for you with Dr. Ansell. I wish you the best with this very difficult decision.
Kind regards,
Karyn

Since Dr Ansell no longer does PNE surgery, who is the best doctor?
