I chew gum Sunil to help the dry mouth from the anti depressant medication for pain- it does make you burp a bit and i don't swallow it.

I can't understand why you say not the sugar free gum - this is what i use to avoid my teeth getting any worse - is there something different in this gum ?

Thank you for explaining about the gum Sunil - you have a lot to balance - i have read and taken in all you have written.

I am at early days with pain management and was very surprised and pleased that i see a pain specialist and gynaecologist together when i go - at least it is being joined together under one appointment something i didn't expect at all. I sometimes feel i am having two different conversations though - but i guess they are working together.

My husband came off his motorbike and hurt his ribs - very sore but not broken - it took a little while to heal but they did eventually - just takes a bit longer in your 50s.

Take care.

Sunil, have you tried a topical cream? I tried some oral meds but due to my other medical conditions I had a difficult time tolerating them. One if my Drs came uo with a cream that has Ketoprofen, bacoflen, gabapentin, and amitripyline that has helped me quite a bit. I also take Valium sups 10mg nightly which also helps. I am a less meds is more type of girl if possible so on top of these meds I do PT,acupunture, cardio and stretching weekly. This is not my first rodeo, I was told in 2005 I would be in heart failure in less than two years. I fought that diagnosis and have all intentions of doing everything I can on this one as well!! Best of luck on quick and happy healing!!!

Hello Daisy. Welcome to the forum. I would be interested in hearing your story in the Welcome Center of the forum. ;)

Violet
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Thanks Violet for the welcome! :). Sorry it has been awhile since I logged in. I hope to post my journey here soon! I have been through some trials health wise in the past, but this one definitely has given me a run for the money. I'm progressing pretty well so I hope to beat it soon!!
