Saline injections with lidocane to calm PN

Post by davemon1953 »

A pain clinic has suggested these saline injections. I have already tried over two years: multiple nerve blocks, special PT, acupuncture dual labral hip tear surgery, pelvic coil embolization, drugs. All no luck. Trying to become human again for 2013

Dave, is this like a nerve block that injects a large volume of fluid to try to free up the nerve? I don't remember seeing any literature on this relating to PNE but here is an abstract on using it for low back pain.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
