I would love to find out about this stimulator. I had on May 31st2012 a Boston Scientic Mod implanted. Where were the leads implanted and was it hard to program? It seems I have had difficulty with programming the unit and actually overcoming the fear of it migrating, since it did in April after 2 weeks.

By having the pudendal nerve stimmed, do you run the risk of making more nerve damage in the long run. Like many of you I am not in a good place right now and my oral medication is like taking M and M's. I did a trial of interstim in a doctor's office where he ran a lead down both sides of my lower back without the use of x-ray. I was crying like a baby when he finished and it did nothing for me. If you have a sacral stimulator implanted do they need to remove bone ( spine bone) in order to place the leads. I am becoming all but bedridden with this condition and at times it is so painful it makes me literally sick. I am always nauseated from the pain and I have gone to bed with ice for over nineteen years which may have caused even more nerve damage. I am so discouraged as I live one hour from Boston and I do not know where or how to find help. Six major surgeries since 1994 have done nothing for me but cause me to have more pain. Grammy

Grammy, did you read Lottanerve's recenrt story about the pain pump that is giving her a lot of pain relief? Maybe that is something you want to consider since the stim trial did not work for you.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
