Hello, are janet and I write from Italy, excuse my English.
I need your help for two problems.
the first is that 'I'm looking for Dr. Potter, to do the MRI in New York, but after more often spoken with the hospital Special Surgery, I learned that she does not more spoken with the patients 'and do not see patients after MRI.
"Perhaps," signing the report, but does not explain her.
You understand that make a trip from Italy with a lot of pain that I have, without being able to see, is for me not acceptable. (I ave pudendal neurophaty. Much, much more serious after block made by Dr. Vincenti, in padova, italy ( terrible !!) which has ruined me .. I have a terrible pain ... now!)

THE FIRST QUESTION IS IF YOU KNOW WHERE CAN I FIND THE DOCTOR POTTER NOW (NEWS RECENT LAST MONTH), the HSS do not give news .... I would like the number or mail address of her private studio!

The second thing is a piece of advice I suffer from terrible pain of 8 months (is long to explain ...) caused by block without tac, and I don't know if it would be better to do the neurography by Dr. Filler or MRI by Potter (if I can find it ....)
I can't do one or the other 'cause the last few months I have already' done 3 magnetic resonance imaging (useless) in Italy.

Thank you very much ... CIAO Janet

PS Filler now make the neurography also in london ... does anyone know if it 'the same as those in America?

Dr. Potter is just a radiologist that reads your MRI. She doesn't see patients. You should schedule an appointment with a Doctor who specializes in PN -- you can find one on this site. You can schedule an MRI with Dr. Potter and then bring her results to the specialist. Good luck.

thanks Beverly.
Since about a year ago, 'explained Dr Potter MRI patients, of this I am sure Because a friend of mine did it 2 times.
Now I realize that does not see more 'patients after MRI.
You to a specialist that you were with your MRI?
Read by Dr. Collemann, the HSS ..... 's true that you're okay now at 99%?
What did you solved it?
I have, like you, also vulvodynia ...
After the MRI j don't know who to see in usa ..., wich doctor... ?(j have read horrible things about Filler..Dillon is super, but make surgery....)

You have a really, really good doctor can recommend? Also away from N.Y. ....

Best and thank you very much

I dont know what kind of doctor to recommend. It would depend on what is CAUSING your PN? Could have a specialist in Italy read the Potter MRI? Or, you could go to a specialist in the US. There really aren't any PN specialist in New York. I went to Dr. Harris/Dr. Coady who specialize in pelvic pain. Dr. Coleman is a hip surgeon at HSS. I had hip surgery --- which was causing my PN. I have also done extensive Physical Therapy with someone who specialize in PN -- Her name is Stacy Futterman in New York City. I hope this helps.

It would be far easier for you to travel to Turkey to see DR. Tibet Erdogru for an assessment and action plan.
