anyone had worse pain after injections?
anyone had worse pain after injections?
I had two trigger point injections , one in the psoas and one in the Q lumbaris?? now my pain is worse than before...has anyone else ever had injections that made things worse?
Re: anyone had worse pain after injections?
I had a very bad experience in 2002 when I had my second injection. I would give anything to be in the shape I was in before that shot.
Hopefully it is only temporary with you; it seems to be that way with most people that had a bad reaction.

Re: anyone had worse pain after injections?
I was 10x worse after the CT-guided nerve block injections I had done at a leading university hospital. The increased pain lasted about 6-8 months, maybe longer. I'm now back to how I was before the shots. Still in pain, but not as bad as I was after the nerve blocks.
The gyno who referred me for the injections mentioned another patient who was asking for her 13th set of shots. So, some people find injections helpful, and some of us most definitely do not! But either way, the benefit or harm seems to be temporary.
Hope you are feeling better soon. Too bad it didn't help.
