Menopausal Symptoms

Post by Amanda »

Ladies

Can you help me please? Im really struggling with serious menopausal symptoms lately, they have increased with the night flushes becoming very disturbing...palpitations and tossing and turning in bed...not feeling very rested in the mornings!
Im taking a few herbal remedies but am reluctant to take HRT as I have a long history of Endo.
Any tips would be very welcomed now. As I regularly take ice to bed....on the pn areas I struggle to get my internal thermometer regulated!!!
PNE started 2003 following Vaginal Hysterectomy, pelvic floor repair and right oophorectomy; eventually after many tests had BilateralTG surgery Nantes 2004; following this tried many other treatments including 7 day epidural, ketamin infusions to no avail; Trialed and was implanted with a Neurostimulator in 2007- Dr Van Buyten Belgium, this has enabled me to manage my pain much better.

I've found natural progesterone cream to be very helpful. I too cannot take HRT, oestrogen supplements are out in my case because of a history of DVTs and PE. With regard to herbal remedies, I have found Remifemin to be the best by far. But the progesterone cream is better still IMO.
