Re: Tg surgery
How long can u not exercise after the tg approach n what has people's time been since they returned to work
Re: Tg surgery
It took me 3 months before I feltt I could try working begining of August and I started out at 2 hours per day for a week or so then gradually added time up to 6 hours. When the holidays came in December I stayed at 6 so I could enjoy them. Now at 9 months I am just starting 7 hours per day for non-treatment days (not sure if I can get my exercises in and work before PT twice a week and acupuncture once a week). Hoping for 8 hour days by my 1year in May. Now realize there is a great range of recoveries and you may be lucky and ready in 4-6 weeks. I hope others can give you better feedback but the doctor said aa year should go by before judging surgical success and since I wasn't ready for work in the 4-6 weeks he sent me for disability review! Very confusing but I hope I am beating the odds and can finish my career in 4 years and collect my retirement. I found another doctor that is helping me through recovery along with the treatments and medication I have hope.Best to you on your surgery and take the time neededto recover I believe that is making the difference for me.
