New to Az, Need a new Md. Anywhere!!!!

Post by broken2000 »

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
I'M NEW TO THE STATE,( 8 WEEKS) THE PRIMARY CARE PHYSCIAN I FOUND VIA THE INTERNET, TURNE OUT TO BE THE MOST INHUMANE PERSON I HAVE YET TO MEET BOTH IN MY TEN YEARS OF SUFFERING, AS WELL AS MY 25 YEARS AS A RN.
I AM A10 YEAR PLUS PN SUFFERER, WITH ALL THE BELLS AND WHISTLES/"COMPLICATIONS, SYMPTOMS, SYNDROMS, AND OF COURSE THE DISABLING (PHYSICAY AND PSYCHOLOGICAL)CHRONIC PAIN, THAT ALL OF US ARE WAY TO FAMILIAR WITH) ETC THAT A SEVERLY ABNORMAL PUDENDAL NERVE CAN CAUSE.I UNDER WENT A 5.5 HOUR DECOMPRESSION SURGURY IN JAN.OF 2011,TO REPAIR THE NERVE, AND REMOVE AN ENORMOUS AMOUNT OF SCAR TISSUE THROUGHOUT MY ENTIRE PELIVIS-NOT JUST THE RIGHT SIDE AS EXPECTED,AS MY PAIN AND NUMBERS ON MY FORMAL DIAGNOSTIC EXAM WAS SEAMED TO BE CONFINED TO THHE RIGHT SIDE . I MAY NEED L SIDE DONE, OR A RE DO ON RIGHT IF NO MORE IMPROVEMENT IN 3 MO.
DR. ANTOLAK FELT MAJORITY OF SCAR TISSUE WAS RELATED CAUSE BY A MAJOR HEMATOMA/ BLEED DURING A ROUNTINE RECTOCELE REPAIR 10 YEARS AGO. FOLLOWED BY THE 4 ADDITIONAL "EXPERMENTAL PELVIC'" SURGERIES TO TRY TO REPAIR THE "DAMAGE TO ENTIRE PELVIS", DR. ANTOLAC FOUND THE NERVE TO BE SALAVEABE. MY EXPECTED LENGTH TO REACH A MINNIMAL 50% RECOVERY TO BE 16-24 MONTHS BEFORE ANY REALLY NOTICABLE REDUCTION IN PAIN BARRING I DON'T OVER DO IT WITH STRESS &/0R PHYSCIALLY, AND UP TO 5 YEARS FOR FULL RECOVERY.
MY NEW DOCTOR WITH A LETTER FROM MY MN.DOCTOR STATED ALL OF THE ABOVE. DESPITE HAVING THIS INFO-"I'M GOING TO WEAN YOU OFF YOUR NARCOTICS ETC.IN 4 WKS-CUT MED IN HALF-METHADONE AND OXYCODONE!!!
I AM WAITING FOR APPOINTMENT WITH DR. HIBNER, AND MY APPLICATION FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TO GO THROUGH, I NEED A DIFFERENTDOCTOR, I HAVE HAD TO CUT DOWN ON THE REST OF STANDARD MEDS -CAN'T AFFORD.I WILL GO ANY WHERE IN TUSCON, OR PHOENIX-VERY LONG- I NOW -BUT I REALLY NEED SOME REFFERALS FOR AN APPROPRIATE DOCTOR!! :| :( ASAP THANK YOU VICKIE

Thanks,
They were uncomfortable recomending someone until he knew me.
Is there any one from Az, or have family, friends here that could be of help? If not thanks for listening to me ramble on.I am so tired of being treated as a nut case and drug seeker. Medical records do nothing to change some providers personal opinions. You all know what I mean I'm su :? re. I'll keep looking!

Hi - If you are still searching for a primary care physician, I can recommend Dr. Sandra Levitt of Innovative Primary Care @ 480 776 0626. She is in Gilbert, Arizona.

Oh I failed to mention she is very sympathetic to pain syndromes - she also does pain management. Doesn't make you feel like a drug seeker.
