Hello friends,
Is there anyone out there dealing with PN in Colorado? What resources do we have here? Paulette has been to Dr. Hanson and I have an appt this week, just wondering if anyone has found a good pelvic pain specialist here in the state.
thanks,
cari

Re: Anyone in Colorado?
One of our former directors (username chloe) is from CO. She's rarely active on the forum anymore but if you send her a PM she might respond.
Did you check out the list of PT's from CO on our website? They are likely familiar with the docs in CO who treat PN so you might try contacting one of them.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Hi - better late than never! The PT I saw for years was Dawn Sandalcidi. She was trained by Stephanie P. and is VERY knowledgeable about PN. Pelvic pain is one of her her specialties. http://ptspecialist.com/bio.asp
I could not have gotten through the pre or post op phase without her (Surgery with Hibner July 2007) - she is awesome!!

Aug-06: PNE as a result of 15+ years of weightlifting (32 years of age)
Apr 07: Evaluation/PNMLT in Houston
Aug 07: Surgery with Dr. Hibner -- I was his 20th patient (approx).
I consider myself to be 90 - 95 % improved. The only thing I can no longer do is exercise strenuously - that is OK with me!!
I can walk for exercise, hike, and use the elliptical -- all very carefully of course.
