...has anyone heard of this drug? Ran into the PA at my pain management doc's office at work (I'm a nurse at a hospital) and he mentioned it as an option. I see my doc on Tuesday so will bring it up. Looks like it is used for fibromyalgia. Neurontin and Ultram aren't cutting it for me.

Savella tends to have a lot of side effects from what I have heard. There has been a thread or two on here about it but no one seemed to have it affect their PN very much. Hibner prescribes Valium baclofen suppositories a lot but I know you already take Valium. How much neurontin do you take? It took me getting to 2400mg to really see any difference and the effect is minimal.

-Progressive widespread pain- central sensitization
-PT, meds, injections, botox, ESWT = debilitated.
-5/12 Potter MRI - scarring of left ST, coccygeous & posterior alcock
-12/12 - left FAI/labral hip tear surgery
2014-2019 managed w/ gabapentin, massage, and lifestyle mod
2020 - big flare up

Good to know...
I am only on 800 mg of Neurontin at this time. I keep getting nystagmus every time I try to up my dose. Instead of 2 children in my living room, I see 4:) !!!!!!! heehee
