Blood Pressure

Post by PaulSa »

Anyone suffer from high blood pressure? Just had my pressure checked on Friday and I'm in the hypertension range at 163/93. My last reading about a year before was 133/82. Is this a possible side effect of Pudendal? Going back for a follow up in 3 weeks, maybe ask to get some blood work done.

I've had hypertension for about 15 years. It is now well controlled with meds, in my case I am sure it is not related to PN.

Paul, I think it's entirely possible that PN has affected your BP although. I normally have very low BP but during the worst of my PN journey I had some high readings during office visits. Of course -- just talking about this illness to your doc can make your BP go up! My BP has since gone back to its normal range.
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
