Re: PGAD that turned into prolapse / nerve damage symptoms?
Hello It sounds like you have a rectocele, which is a type of pelvic organ prolapse. I had one for a very long time and finally had surgery to repair it, as well as an enterocele, and a prolapsed uterus. The surgery was done via the vagina. I got to keep my uterus. :D My prolapse symptoms started wh...

The Baclofen is 10 mg but more effective if I use 20 mg But like you I'm careful how much and how often I use it. And I don't really like the way it makes me feel.

Re: What medication has worked best for your PN pain?
Bart For PN pain and PGAD I am currently using Amitriptyline at a low dose of 10 to 20 mg and find it much more effective with fewer side effects than Gabapentin. But it is an anticholinergic drug, so it comes with baggage. I try to take it only when my symptoms are flaring really badly. For the bla...

Thank you Violet! I got a pudendal nerve block last week.
I'd be most appreciative if you could take a look at my post about it on this other thread:

Where can I get a pudendal nerve block in TEXAS?
Hello. Female longtime PGAD sufferer here.
I would prefer San Antonio/Austin/Houston areas but really I am willing travel anywhere in Texas to someone experienced in doing pudendal nerve blocks, possibly the dorsal clitoral nerve.

Re: my experience with vaginal trigger point injections
It seemed so good, it's hard to see you at the baseline again. Keep pushing forward I know. It's sad that I had to keep my expectations very very low so I could appreciate any improvement, however small. But I am glad that I finally reached out to this doctor, as it had been some years since I've b...

Re: my experience with vaginal injections & a few meds
I am circling back here to followup on how things have been since late June when I completed the 6 rounds of weekly trigger point injections: My symptoms of pudendal neuralgia, PGAD, and lower left ab pain have been greatly reduced (by about 75%) compared to the months long flare-up I was in prior t...
