Re: A cushion that let me sit on metal chairs

Hi Swick89, I just came across your article about a custom roho cushions and had a few questions, if you don't mind. I've had PN for over 10 years and like many have tried an array of cushions to help with sitting. Most don't work but have found some relief in certain U shaped cushions (travel pillo...

Hi All, I have been diagnosed by three doctors as having Pudendal Neuralgia as my symptoms fit the diagnostic parameters as set in Dr Roberts, Nates France. Recently went to see different Pudendal specialist in New England. He did a complete pelvic examination which included palpatation of the puden...

Re: DRG STIMULATION/second visit

Hi Ray,

Dr Cory Hunter is a pain management doctor in NY City and he offers DRG. He founded Ainsworth Institute and has done trials on DRG and has had good results.

Re: An open Letter

Hi Michael, I'm so sorry about your lack of progress on this. It is an incredibly frustrating problem, because so few doctors can treat it. Given that you are in Rochester, NY, you could request an MRI with Dr. Potter. She's right there in Rochester. She is a radiologist who developed an MRI protoc...

Re: Help; Need Root Canal, Can't Sit That Long

Has the Ativan helped your pain before? Valium helps too. Hi jones, I can't say for sure if it has or hasen't. My doc prescribed it for occasional anxiety not for pain and I only take one half of a milligram. I gut tells me that it was probably the 800mg ibuprofen that mostly helped with my pain. B...

An open Letter

I've been feeling down lately because of my lack of progress with with my PN. I've done my best to manage my symptoms on my own, for the last 10 years, but things have changed in this last year and my pain has ratcheted up considerably. I've been to many doctors, none have been able to help me. My p...

Re: Help; Need Root Canal, Can't Sit That Long

Hi, Just wanted to let you know that I made it through my root canal. I didn't get much help from my pain doc. I ended just taking 1/2 mg of Ativan (anti-anxiety) and my endodontist game me an 800mg ibuprofen tab, and to my great surprise, I was good for the whole time in the chair. I can't explain ...

Re: Help; Need Root Canal, Can't Sit That Long

I would try to get the root canal doctor to do the procedure in two visits. I was able to get mine to do that and each visit was just less than one hour in the chair. I make my own ice and freeze my butt cheek with either a blue ice pack or thick ice. It can be done. I have had two crowns done and ...
