Hi everyone I just wanted to let you know that for me the sacral nerve stimulator has changed my life. I’m about 6 weeks post op and am off all painkillers. Waking up from surgery the surgical wounds hurt more than the pelvic pain I lived with. It’s changed my life. I’m so happy and I want to say pl...

Re: Successful Neuromodulator trial
Hello everyone. I had the permanent implant inserted on Friday, and switched on Saturday. I’m happy to report that the stimulator is working and the only pain I feel is from the wound sites. Let’s keep it that way!

Re: please help me I am at my wits end
Thierry Vancaille in Sydney is amazing. He specialises in pain management and understands and listens! Many women and men travel from all over the country to see him. I was suicidal before I saw him and after working our way through different types of procedures to fix this, I’m having a sacral nerv...

Re: Successful Neuromodulator trial
Since I had the trial leads removed, the pain has come crashing back. I can’t sleep and am taking huge quantities of panadol, neurofen and tapentadol in SR and IR form. The energy that I had from the trial is long gone, and I am Fatigued and hurting. The good thing is that I know it works, but I hav...

Sure is April. Surgery can’t come soon enough - because the pain sucks especially when I know I am so close to being significantly pain free!

Hi everyone I am so pleased. I had a week long trial of the SNS and as soon as it was switched on I had blessed relief I was so excited going into the surgery. It was really interesting because the incision wounds hurt more than the pure all nerve pain! I was able to walk go out for dinner twice dur...

Re: What can I expect to feel during a ketamine infusions?
Well I can say that I have reacted well to the infusion - I’ve been on thendrip for four days and have seen a drop in the excruciating chuck the towel in pain. I haven’t had any reaction to the ketamine. At the very least so far I can say that I have gone as low as pain scores of 2 - which is nothin...

What can I expect to feel during a ketamine infusions?
Is there anyone who can tell me what it feels like to have the ketamine infusion? I reached the point last week where I just wanted out. I contacted my Dr and he has immediately booked me in for an infusion. Will I be groggy and just sleep while on it? Will I be spacey or feeling like I’m on a bad t...
