Re: toilet seat cushions

I don't think there has been anything over the 22 years that I haven't tried. You name it - I've been there, including Tramadol, IC cushions - the lot. The Valium has definitely improved my incentive and I would much rather stay on it than go to the Patches. My PCP is concerned about my becoming add...

Re: toilet seat cushions

The only time I am comfortable is when I'm sitting on the toilet. I've tried just a toilet seat, but I'm about ready to buy an entire toilet for my sewing/computer room. This thread has really given me some ideas. I am just so tired of the pain. Right now I'm doing Valium and topical Lidocaine. The ...

Re: VALIUM

Quitter: I tried 50mg Tramadol and I might just not have taken them for the lack of relief they gave me. Vicodin, Percocet, no relief whatsoever, so that's why Valium may do the trick. My Pain Management Dr, who diagnosed me with PN referred me to an Ob/GYN who he said was the "Expert" in ...

Re: VALIUM

I am seeing my PCP tomorrow and hope to discuss Valium with him. I just tried Morphine ( from my Pulmonologist in an effort to help my shortness of breath) but it had no effect on that and actually increased my pain. I simply do not respond to opiates and she suggested Valium type drugs as an altern...

Re: Lyrica Vision Impairment

I used Lyrica in 2006 and had to stop it because I experienced blurred and double vision in my left eye. In 2008 I was put on Cymbalta and experienced the same thing. That time, my blurred vision improved, but not my double vision, again in my left eye. I currently have to wear a prism on my glasses...

Re: Tegretol xr

This is very strange, because I just started back on Tegretol - just at 200mg. In the 90's I was on it and did very well - until I had a seizure and stopped it. My daughter, who was with me during the episode, now insists it was low potassium levels and not the Tegretol? The Pain Mgt Doctor that I s...

Re: cymbalta for pain

My pain started suddenly also and was linked to sitting on a hard barstool in the course of my employment. (Auditor in a large resort behind the front desk) This was in April 1989 and I am still looking for pain relief. Opiates don't work. Lyrica and Cymbalta gave me blurred and double vision and Ne...

Re: cymbalta for pain

I tried both Lyrica and Cymbalta for my pain. Both gave me blurred vision and I have double vision in one eye that I have to attribute to the Cymbalta. I had it with Lyrica, but it disappeared when I discontinued it, came back with Cymbalta and never left. Neither did anything for the pain situation...

Re: Welcome to Hope

I've been with you guys for a very long time - under the name of "Wheezie" and now missmarple and I'm glad I found you after the move. Almost 22 years and I'm still looking for pain relief. I'll be back with an update shortly. DH is ready for Dinner.
