Re: Complex Regional Pain Syndrome
Thanks for this thread. I have had a variety of distant pain from PN. These "additional" symptoms are height when I have bad flares. When I had expressed these to my many specialists, the symptoms usually led to more tests with no conclusions and them to thinking I was a just a head case :...

Re: Sacral pain
Faith, My sacral pain in mainly right side but I do have dual buttock pain -- right is just worse and both of my legs are pins and needles about half the day but again the right side is just more involved. I had contacted Dr. Potter's office to see if she would read an outside film as I have located...

Re: Seeking help with undiagnosed condition
Paul, I am glad you have found Hope. I wanted to share that I had a similar thinking on the 3T MRI being performed here in my city and paying a fee for Dr. Potter to read. To that end, I called her office just last week and was informed that she will not read outside films. Her assistant advis...

Re: Sacral pain
I too have sacral pain which is real nerve pain. It was were my PN started and continues to be my "main" source of pain. It was suggested for me to consider a caudal ESI injection to bathe the sacral as alternative to another CT-guided PN injection. Appreciate any input if you have had exp...

MAYO CLINIC
I am interested if anyone has been referred to the Mayo Clinic for evaluation of their problems. And, if so, was there any knowledge/help available? (I'm thinking it might just be a wasted trip and a lot of money better spent elsewhere...)

Re: Nerve Block experiences
A week post steriod injection and I'm feeling worse than before I had it. I'm not blaming the injection in and of itself. I say that as I had my second PT session on Friday and was a mess by Friday night leaving me bed/couch bound for 36 hours. How are you suppose to know if they are doing too much?...

Re: Nerve Block experiences
I had my first PN epidural nerve block with steroids yesterday, sedated under CT-scan. The first 5 hours were amazing...I had NO pain. By evening, the sacral pain returned and I found more burning in my upper thighs than previously experienced and leg cramping. I cried, I ICED, I cried, I ICED and f...

Re: Epsom Salt stops the burning
INSTANT OCEAN SEA was recommended to me by my Urgo/Gyno for vulvadynia. It basically is a very delicate sea salt used to maintain health of delicate marine fish and invertebrates. You buy it at a Pet Store. I did soak in it and it did help ease the tissues and was not drying. I did, as recommended b...
