Hi Judy,

I also see Tracy Sher. I have seen some improvement from her I think. I hope you feel relief soon.

Re: Anyone tried ganglion impar block for hyperarousal?

I briefly had hyperarousal when my symptoms first began. It then turned into a more gnawing raw pain in my clitoris which I still have to date. I did try a ganglion impar block to address the clitoral aspect of the pain and got no relief. In fact it was the one area down there that did not get numb;...

Re: One week at 150mg Lyrica BID...

Hi AM, I no longer take Lyrica because at just 150mg I was losing my memory. I now take Elavil and one of the biggest things for me is the weight gain. I'm a tiny person too, 5'7" and 112 pounds, but over the last couple of months I've been gaining weight slowly and noticing my pants don't fit ...

Re: Posterior Femoral Cutaneus Nerve

I have not been formally diagnosed, but it has been suggested to me that this may be a contributing factor in my pain. I do not have burning pain at all, but the area of pain that I do have is suggestive of PFCN irritation or damage. I have been told that it may be communicating with the pudendal ne...

Re: need a doctor

I live in Orlando Jamie...unfortunately there aren't a lot of great doctors in the area that are PN aware. I currently see Dr. G. Lamvu and she is on the board for the IPPS and is PN aware. She is friendly and helpful so you may use her as an option for helping you deal with your neuralgia. Have you...

Re: My first PT appt.

Violet, I think it's been about 2 weeks since I reported that terrible flare and while things have died down a bit, the pain levels still are higher than they were prior to that appointment and I've still got some right sided pain lingering. I've also had another PT session since then where I spoke ...

Nerve Distribution Question

Hi Everyone, I don't know if you read a previous post of mine stating that my mother was to have a Lap Assisted Hysterectomy, but since that post she has and is about two weeks post-op. Almost immediately after waking she has had severe burning pain in the lower abdomen, on the right side of her pub...

Re: My first PT appt.

Serious pushing on the labia majora today in an attempt to loosen up the tissue surrounding the dorsal nerves today. I can't believe how hard she pushed and pulled on my nerves. I'm guessing I'm going to be in some serious clitoral pain later.... Are we sure that PT is recommend? Pain tonight is 9/1...
