Re: Bloating

I had the same issue. Turns out a lot of meds prescribed for PN/E can cause gastroparesis. Not well or I would explain further but lots of info out there. Feel better!

Re: Genitofemoral, Illioinguinal and Illiohypogastric resect

I haven't been on here for quite a while and am just now seeing this. I had the genitofemoral, ilioinguinal & iliohypogastric neurolyses on both sides, one side at a time, in Aug 2011 & Sept 2011. I recovered very well and without incident and got the relief that was expected. Now why can't ...

Peer Reviewed Articles on TG Surgery

Is anyone aware of any peer-reviewed articles on TG surgery? I am gearing up for the insurance company fight.

Thank you :)

Aetna Won't, Will Medicare?

Well, first I went through months of appeals with Aetna regarding getting pudendal decompression surgery from Dr. Dellon. He was out of network and even though he was the closest doctor to me that did the surgery, they ran me around in circles. I got totally frustrated with them and went to Dr. Eche...

Re: Change in Surgery Plans

Well, things definitely do change :) I ended up not ever getting approval from the insurance company (that appeal is STILL going on if you can believe it) for Dr. Dellon. So I had ilioinguinal, iliohypogastric and genitofemoral surgeries (left side August, right side Sept 30th) with Dr. Hashemi. It ...

Re: Multiple nerve entrapements

Hi :) I think it is an excellent idea to compile a list of doctors who do work on other nerves. I recently had ilioinguinal, iliohypogastric and genitofemoral neurolyses. It is too soon to tell anything (I still have the stitches), but I will ask when I go back what other nerves he works on. I will ...

Re: New PNE Chapter on Dr. Dellon's site

My biggest concern after reading this chapter was the information on neurowrap. It made a pretty convincing case of it sometimes causing a problem rather than helping. Isn't Dr. Hibner using neurowrap? Any of the others?

Thanks for sharing this LottaNerve :)

Re: Success Story

That is wonderful news that you are on the road to recovery!! I am wondering if this would be a total out of pocket. I am thinking we have enough trouble w/our insurance companies in the US; I can't imagine they would cooperate going to Turkey. I am just seeing this now, guessing Ali has already sen...

Re: Tilting/reclining wheelchair

Hi there,

I haven't been able to find a tilting/reclining wheelchair. Does anyone have a link to it?

Thank you,
Grace :)
