Re: 1 month after surgery
Hello again Sprewell4, I went over in August 2018 to have the echo Doppler scan and for a consultation with Dr Bautrant. The Doppler scan showed that it was trapped on the left side which is where I have never been able to sit on for years, I always sat on my right bum cheek. The wording on the scan...

Re: 1 month after surgery
Hi Patty, Here is the one I listen too, it only takes 10 minutes. https://youtu.be/4syPT8gMDDA Also my physio has told me to always breathe in with your tummy muscles and not your chest which I kept doing at first. I didn't believe in meditation until I did this and it does help in different situati...

Re: 1 month after surgery
Hello Sprewell4, 6 months after surgery! Thank you for asking how I am doing. A lot better than at the 1 month after surgery, I am back at work now but still only part time and I only went back 3 months after surgery. I gradually went up to 5 hours a day last week and I think I might go back down to...

Re: Big News - Surgery Scheduled in France 12/6/2018
P.s Also I was told that a lot of the pain after the operation can come from myofasial because the muscles have been protecting the nerve for so long and you tense up with the pain and it's the levator ani muscles that your physio should be concentrating on. So my physio works on the trigger points ...

Re: Big News - Surgery Scheduled in France 12/6/2018
Hi Tony, I had surgery around the same time as you but I went to Dr Bautrant in Marseille. I can't even comprehend how you managed the journey all the way home, I only did the flight from to the England and that was bad enough. I have started to feel a bit better since physio and my husband helps me...

1 month after surgery
In July 2018 I posted on here asking the question surgery or no surgery? Well I decided to go and get tested with Dr Bautrant in France As even though I was being treated for PNE I had never been tested and everything I was trying was just making me worse. So I went in August and I had the Doppler t...

Re: Surgery or no surgery
Hi Violet, Thank you for taking the time to reply. Yes the 1st block I had gave me a caudal effect and I was numb for at least a week and it was the best I have ever sat down. The only problem after it was that I have never been able to sit on it since. When the feeling came back I had the feeling o...

Surgery or no surgery
Hi All, I am a female from the UK and I have been reading stuff on this forum for the last 12 months and I am finally ready to ask for some advice because I just don't know what to do. Had a definite diagnosis last year of PNE, from a doctor in the UK and the pain is in my rectum. I have had ganglio...
